The SDM Polytechnic College, Ujire, hosted its Alumni Meet on March 9 at Indraprastha Auditorium.The event was inaugurated by Mohan Kumar, entrepreneur and owner of Lakshmi Groups, Ujire, who addressed the gathering. He highlighted the significance of overcoming hardships to achieve success, emphasizing that lessons learned from hunger, poverty, humiliation, and failure pave the way for great accomplishments.
Reflecting on his journey, he expressed gratitude for the support and encouragement he received from Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Matrushree Hemavathi Heggade, and D. Harshendra Kumar.
The event was presided over by Principal Santosh, with Event Coordinator and Head of the Electronics Department, Mary Smitha, shedding light on the importance of the alumni association.
Alumni Association President, Pranayaraj Jain, discussed the association’s future initiatives, while College Manager, Chandranath Jain, was also present on stage.
Adding to the celebration, a live music performance was delivered by Arav Rock Band.
During the event, college lecturer Renita Fernandes introduced distinguished alumni who have made remarkable achievements.
The gathering was welcomed by Alumnus Nikhith Jain, with Sai Kiran serving as the event host. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Alumni Association Secretary, Nishmitha.
