SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, conducted an orientation programme on June 23 for its newly admitted students, providing a warm welcome and an introduction to their academic journey.
Inaugurating the event, Chief Guest Mr. Karunakar Jain, Senior Faculty, RUDSETI, Ujire, emphasized the importance of skill development in today’s dynamic world. He urged students to cultivate a range of competencies that will aid their academic success and future careers, while also highlighting the role of parents as guides and role models throughout their children’s education.
Principal Mr. Santosh presented a comprehensive overview of the institution’s academic framework, detailing the structure of various programmes offered and underscoring the significance of discipline, academic integrity, and adherence to institutional regulations.
The programme was attended by Mr. Chandranath Jain, Office Manager. Mr. Shankar Bhat H R, Lecturer in English, delivered the welcome address, and Mr. Shivaprasad, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, introduced the Chief Guest. Mr. Nikith Jain, Instructor, EC Department, proposed the vote of thanks, and Mr. Sampath Kumar Jain, Lecturer, EC Department, served as the master of ceremonies
