Final-Year Mechanical Students Explore Food Packaging Machinery at Dharmasthala

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, organized an academic visit for final-year students on July 14 to ‘Sri Prasada’, the prasadam preparation and packaging unit of the Dharmasthala temple. During the visit, students gained first hand exposure to the machinery and processes involved in large-scale food preparation and packaging. Manager Kushalappa Naik provided detailed insights into the various stages of the operation. The students were accompanied by Mr. Shivaraj P and Mr. Sai Charan C H, Lecturers in Mechanical Engineering, along with Mr. Lohith, Instructor.
