On August 24, 2024, SDM Polytechnic College Ujire’s NSS Unit and Youth Red Cross Unit, in collaboration with SDM Multi-Specialty Hospital Ujire and Red Cross Blood Bank Mangalore, organized a blood donation camp. The event was presided over by Shri Santosh, Principal of SDM Polytechnic College Ujire. Also in attendance were Shri Janardhan, Operations Officer at SDM Multi-Specialty Hospital Ujire; Shri Praveen, Blood Bank Coordinator from Mangalore; Shri Kshitikant Bhat, Blood Laboratory Officer at SDM Multi-Specialty Hospital Ujire; Shri Avaneesh P, Youth Red Cross Unit Program Officer; Shri Prakash, NSS Unit Program Officer; and Deputy Program Officer Shri Lohith, among others.
