Mr. Akshith Kumar, a proud alumnus of SDM Polytechnic who graduated in Mechanical Engineering, is presently working as a Quality Engineer at NeST Technologies, an iPhone manufacturing plant located in Bengaluru. He visited the campus and had an interactive session with the second-year Mechanical Engineering students on January 7, 2026. During the interaction, he shared insights into his academic journey, industry experience, quality engineering practices, and the expectations of the manufacturing sector, motivating students to develop technical skills, discipline, and a professional attitude to succeed in their careers. The interaction was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
