The second year Electronics and Communication Engineering students of SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, visited the SDM Community Radio Station and Multimedia Studio at SDM College, Ujire on September 26th. The visit offered valuable exposure to the technical specifications of radio signals and the transducers used in multimedia applications.
During the session, Dr. Bhaskar Hegde, Head of the Journalism Department, and Mr. Sunil Hegde, Associate Professor, explained the processes of uplink, downlink, and transmission, while also providing insights into community radio broadcasting techniques. The visit was coordinated by Mr. Avaneesh P, Lecturer in the ECE Department of SDM Polytechnic.
