From October 29 to November 3, 2025, SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, partnered with the Magic Bus India Foundation to host a one-week training program focused on boosting students’ proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, communication skills, and cyber security.

Students from the Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), and Mechanical Engineering departments participated.

Inaugural Ceremony:
The program was inaugurated by a distinguished group of guests from the Magic Bus India Foundation:

They were joined by Mr. Dinesh, Head of the Department of Computer Science, SDM Polytechnic. Mrs. Renita Fernandes, Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, efficiently compered the event.

Training Highlights:
Ms. Meghana B. S. served as the resource person for the core training sessions, offering comprehensive insights across the key areas:

Artificial Intelligence (AI): She conducted informative sessions on AI, detailing the types of data involved and the effective use of various AI tools and applications.
Essential Skills: She emphasized the importance of good communication, personality development, and effective problem-solving skills.

Cyber Safety: Ms. Meghana raised awareness about cyber threats, explained different types of cybercrimes (including courier scams), and provided practical advice on staying safe in the digital world.

Placement Preparation:
On the final day, Mr. Kiyasath, Placement Officer from the Magic Bus India Foundation, led a crucial session focused on career readiness:
He explained the different types of resumes and provided instruction on how to create ATS-friendly resumes.
He also shared invaluable interview and communication tips to help students prepare effectively for their upcoming placements.
