The Civil Engineering Department organized a hands-on session on Chain Surveying on 30th January 2026 at the Quarters Ground, providing students with valuable practical exposure. The session was conducted by Er. Rithesh Rai H, Freelance Surveyor, Belthangady, who shared his field experience and guided students through the fundamental procedures of chain surveying. Participants actively engaged in measuring, ranging, chaining, and recording field data, gaining a clear understanding of real-world surveying practices. The interactive and practical approach of the session helped bridge the gap between theory and field application, making it an enriching learning experience for the students.
