On 26th March 2026, the NSS and YRC units of SDM Polytechnic organized an informative awareness session for 2nd semester students at the seminar hall. The session focused on important health topics such as HIV disease, poisonous snake bites, and rabies, aiming to create awareness and promote preventive measures among students. The program featured expert resource persons including Mr. Dharma Paal, Counselor at Government Hospital, Belthangady, Dr. Hasta, RKSK Counselor at Government Hospital, Belthangady, and Ms. Ammi A., Block Health Education Officer, Belthangady. The speakers provided valuable insights, practical guidance, and safety measures related to these health concerns, making the session highly informative and beneficial for the students.
