The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Scratch Gaming Crafting Competition on 12th September 2025, in celebration of Engineers’ Day, open to students from all branches. The event was inaugurated in the presence of the Principal, Mr. Santhosh, Manager, Mr. Chandranath Jain, and the Head of the Department of CSE, who graced the occasion.

The event was smoothly compered by Bhavitha, a final-year CSE student, while Munjusha, a second-year student, extended a warm welcome to the audience. Renita Fernandes, Lecturer in the Department of CSE, delivered a brief introduction to Scratch game development, setting the stage for the competition. Nearly 60 enthusiastic students participated, showcasing their innovative ideas and technical skills in creating games using Scratch software.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Shreyas R. Rao, a first-year student. The competition provided an excellent platform for students to express their creativity and strengthen their practical understanding of game design.
