On the occasion of Engineers’ Day, the district-level inter-polytechnic technical competition “TEKTRIX 2025” was organized on September 15 at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Polytechnic.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Pramod Kumar K.K., Assistant Engineer, Kukke Subrahmanya Special Sub-Division, who delivered an inspiring keynote address. He highlighted the significant contributions of Sir M. Visvesvaraya in the field of engineering and explained how his achievements are honored as Engineers’ Day, not only in India but also in two other countries. Mr. Pramod Kumar emphasized that the principles of service and innovation established by Sir Visvesvaraya continue to guide the engineering profession today. He encouraged students to actively participate in competitions and opportunities, as these experiences contribute to personal and professional growth. He further stressed that engineers play a vital role in society, and by offering technical solutions aligned with contemporary needs, one can achieve great success. He urged the students to develop this proactive and service-oriented mindset during their academic journey.
