On August 21, 2024, an awareness program on women’s health and hygiene was organized by the NSS and Youth Red Cross units of SDM Polytechnic College, Ujire, in collaboration with the Rotary Club Belthangady and the ANNS Club.
The event was presided over by Mr. Santosh, the principal of SDM Polytechnic, Ujire. The chief guest, Dr. Vinay Kishore, a gynecologist from Benaka Health Center, Ujire, provided comprehensive information to the students about adolescent health and safety issues.
Also present at the event were Mrs. Gayathri Sridhar, President of the ANNS Club, Mr. Prakash, NSS Program Officer, and Mr. Avaneesh P., Youth Red Cross Unit Program Officer. All female staff and students of the Polytechnic College participated in the program.
