The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an educational industrial visit for the final year students on 23rd August 2024. The visit included two significant locations: KMF Dairy and Gurucharan Industries. This excursion aimed to provide the students with practical insights into industrial operations and machinery relevant to their field of study.
At KMF Dairy, students were exposed to the various mechanical processes involved in dairy production, including the automation and mechanical systems used in milk processing, packaging, and distribution.
The second part of the visit took place at Gurucharan Industries, a company specializing in the manufacture of plastic processing machinery. Here, the students explored the design, fabrication, and operation of various plastic processing machines such as extrusion machines, injection molding machines, and blow molding machines.
