uly 1: Orientation programme for the newly admitted students of the academic year 2024-25 was held here at SDM Polytechnic today (July 1).  Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Principal of the college Santosha educated the students on the polytechnic courses, available facilities in the college, and rules and regulations of the institution. HOD of Civil Engineering Trupti talked about the advanced topics included in the polytechnic syllabus and the opportunities available for the diploma graduates.  HOD of Electronics and Communication Engineering Mary Smitha; HOD of Computer Science and Engineering Dinesh; and HOD of Mechanical Engineering Shreyank were present on the dais. Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department Shivaprasad welcomed the gathering.
