The Placement Cell of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Polytechnic, Ujire, in association with DLithe, organized a Technical Talk Session on “IoT, Automation & Robotics” on 25 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at SDMP, Ujire. The session was conducted specifically for the final-year students of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering branches.
The programme began with an introduction by Ms. Dhanya Bangera, Customer Success Lead, who welcomed the participants and provided an overview of the session and its relevance to students.
The technical session was conducted by Ms. Archana and Ms. Saujanya, who provided students with valuable insights into Internet of Things (IoT), industrial automation, and robotics and their applications in modern industries. The session highlighted emerging technologies, smart manufacturing, robotic systems, connected devices, and the growing importance of automation in the industrial sector.
The speakers also emphasized innovation, product development, competency development, and industry-oriented skills, helping students understand the technological knowledge and competencies expected by today’s industries. Students gained valuable exposure to career opportunities and future prospects in the fields of IoT, automation, robotics, and related technologies.
The programme served as an effective platform for the final-year Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering students to connect their academic knowledge with real-world industrial applications, understand current industry trends, and develop awareness of the skills required for emerging technology-driven careers.
