A User Awareness Programme was conducted for the faculty members of SDM Polytechnic on 24th April 2026 at the Seminar Hall, aiming to enhance academic resource utilization and digital literacy. The session was led by Dr. Rajatha, Librarian, SDM Institute of Technology, Ujire, who served as the resource person. The programme highlighted key academic and research support platforms including the VTU Consortium, enabling access to a wide range of e-journals and scholarly resources; DELNET (Delhi Library Network) for inter-library loan and knowledge sharing; Drillbit, a plagiarism checking support tool to ensure academic integrity; and NITK Surathkal Library Access, providing extended research and reference resources. The session significantly contributed to improving faculty awareness on modern library services and digital academic tools.
