As part of the Day 6 Induction Programme, a session on Career Opportunities for Diploma Students and Placement Activities was organized on 6th July 2026 at the Workshop Seminar Hall of SDM Polytechnic, Ujire. The session was delivered by Mr. Amaresh Hebbar, Placement Officer of the college, who provided valuable insights into various career opportunities available after diploma education, higher studies, industry expectations, and the institute’s placement support and recruitment process. He encouraged students to develop technical skills, communication abilities, and a professional attitude to enhance their employability. The event was coordinated by Mr. Shivaraj P., Lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, as part of the induction programme. The session was highly informative and motivated the newly admitted students to prepare for successful careers from the beginning of their academic journey.
