The Department of Civil Engineering, SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, organized an Industrial Visit to Sanidya Block Manufacturing Unit, Ujire, on 29 August 2026 for First Year Diploma Civil Engineering students. The visit provided valuable practical exposure to the manufacturing of concrete blocks, including raw material selection, batching, mixing, moulding, compaction, curing, and quality control. Students interacted with technical staff and gained insights into the properties, applications, and advantages of concrete blocks. The visit was an enriching learning experience that helped students connect classroom concepts with real-world construction practices.The visit was coordinated by Mr. Ashwin ,Mrs Renu and Mr. Yagnesh staff coordinators. Their guidance contributed to making the visit an informative and enriching learning experience.
