Guest Lectures on “Algorithm Analysis” were held at SDM Polytechnic, Ujire on January 7 and 8 for the second-year students of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. The programme was organized to enhance students’ understanding of fundamental concepts related to algorithm efficiency and design. Ms. Rashmi G. S., Former Full Stack Developer, served as the resource person and delivered insightful sessions on how to analyze an algorithm, calculate time and space complexity, and apply asymptotic notations. She also explained Abstract Data Types using simple real-world examples, which helped students grasp the concepts effectively. The programme began with a warm welcome by Ms. Manjusha Hegde, who also proposed the vote of thanks, marking the successful conclusion of the guest lectures.
