The NSS and YRC units were inaugurated for the academic year 2026-27 at the Workshop Seminar Hall on 15th July. 2026. The event began with the NSS prayer followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. The Chief Guest and dignitaries also watered plants as part of the inauguration, symbolizing growth and environmental consciousness. NSS students served as masters of ceremony, while staff coordinators from both NSS and YRC successfully organized the event.
Chief Guest Mr. Diwakar Shetty, NSS Coordinator from SNS Polytechnic, delivered the inaugural address highlighting the importance of NSS activities and the benefits of YRC. NSS Officer Mr. Sai Charan Lecturer,Mechanical Department presented the NSS calendar of events, and YRC Coordinator Mr. Avaneesh P, lecturer, Electronics Department shared the YRC action plan for the year.
Principal Mr. Santosh addressed the gathering, emphasizing the role of NSS and YRC in student development and social responsibility. The event concluded with all students taking a solemn oath to uphold the values and commitments of both NSS and YRC.
The inauguration marked the beginning of a year dedicated to community service, social awareness, and humanitarian activities.
