The Annual Sports Meet was successfully held on 9th April 2026 at the SDMIT Ground with great enthusiasm and participation from students and staff. The event was inaugurated by Sri Ramesh H, Secretary of the SDM Sports Club, who encouraged students to actively engage in sports for their overall development. Sri Chandranath Jain, Manager of SDM Polytechnic, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The programme was presided over by Sri Santhosha, Principal of the institution. The event was well coordinated by the Sports Committee members. A variety of exciting events such as Tug of War, Lagori, Shot Put, Staff vs Students Cricket, and Football were conducted, showcasing teamwork, strength, and sportsmanship among the participants.
