As a part of the Induction Programme, an awareness session on Student Scholarships and Library Usage was conducted on 8th July 2026 at the Workshop Seminar Hall, SDM Polytechnic, Ujire. The session aimed to familiarize newly admitted students with the various scholarship opportunities available and the effective utilization of the institution’s library resources. The resource persons for the programme were Mrs. Anushree B.K., Lecturer, Department of Computer Science, who explained the scholarship schemes, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, and Mrs. Namitha Shetty, Librarian, who provided detailed information on library facilities, borrowing rules, digital resources, and best practices for academic learning. The programme was compered by Mr. Tribhuvan, Instructor, Department of Computer Science. The event was attended by all the teaching and non-teaching staff, who joined in welcoming and guiding the first-year students as they begin their academic journey at SDM Polytechnic, Ujire.
