SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, organized a Hybrid Engine Demonstration Programme on 16th October 2026 for the final-year students of all departments. The programme aimed to provide students with practical knowledge of hybrid engine technology, its working principles, and its applications in the modern automotive industry.
The session was led by Mr. Ashith Rai, Technical Trainer at United Biodata, Mangaluru, who served as the resource person. He explained the fundamentals of hybrid engine technology and demonstrated its working, highlighting the integration of conventional internal combustion engines with electric propulsion systems. The demonstration helped students understand the importance of energy efficiency, reduced emissions, and the growing role of hybrid technology in sustainable transportation.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Principal, the Manager, and all faculty members of the institution. Their participation reflected the institution’s commitment to providing students with practical learning opportunities and exposure to emerging technologies.
